The 5 values that reflect Bunch’s purpose, goals and culture.

As a freelancer (previously) and now in a new role with Bunch, I find values and behaviours are a big help when starting fresh with a new company. They tell you something about the ways of working and what the company holds dear. Good values aren’t just there to fill up your website, they help your clients to understand who you are, they are a great recruiting tool and they help the team to feel more engaged.

It seems a tricky one though, establishing values that are not just empty words. ‘Creative’, ‘Diverse’, ‘Innovative’, I’m sure they’re created from a well-intentioned place…but they miss the mark when it comes to inspiring and engaging the people they are meant for. That’s why the descriptors of the values are so important, the word itself is great but it doesn’t really come to life without the story behind it.

Clever…

means we pride ourselves on being curious thought leaders that push the boundaries, innovate and think outside the box. We learn from successes and failures alike.

Hungry…

means we are ambitious to win, think big and raise the bar. We kick-ass to get best-in class results.

In Tune….

means we trust, respect, actively listen to and are supportive of our clients and each other.

We lead with our hearts, care and collaborate with each other.

Make It Happen…

with grit, tenacity and a ‘can do’ attitude, we are persistent in producing the highest quality outcomes without overcomplicating it…or being afraid to say ‘no’ if necessary.

When I first met Steph (Stephanie Bradshaw, Creative Director) she asked me which value I could relate to most. I think I answered ‘Hungry’ as I like raising the bar and (like most vain designers) hearing words of praise. Ultimately, it’s all these values together that make up Bunch.
